Our mission is to create an exceptional summer running experience in the mountains of North Carolina that equips middle and high school athletes with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to reach their full potential. Through intentional base training, experienced coaching, educational sessions, and a supportive team environment, athletes develop the habits and mindset needed for long-term success in running. Frequently Asked Questions
What should I bring to camp?
A copy of "What to Bring List-Summer Running" was sent with your registration confirmation. More information can also be found here.

Are there transportation options if we need to fly into camp?
BDRC provides a free shuttle to and from Asheville, NC airport (AVL). Please refer to the "Travel Plans" section of the Preparing page for more information.

Will I be able to do laundry while at the camp?
Yes, there are free washers and dryers available to the campers, but detergent much be supplied.

How can I pay my balance?
You can pay the balance due online with a credit card up to 72 hours before the applicable camp start date. You can mail a personal check prior to June 15th. After June 15th, you can mail a money order or cashier’s check. More information can be found in the handbook.
